Sorrento Networks Selects NBS as Global Manufacturing Partner

SANTA CLARA — Aug. 17, 2009 — Sorrento Networks, a global provider of metro optical access solutions, has named NBS as its global manufacturing partner. NBS, an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider headquartered in Northern California, will now provide configure to order (CTO) services including final assembly, test, order fulfillment and return materials authorization (RMA) functions for Sorrento's GigaMux product line.

Founded in 1999 as a PCB layout specialist, NBS has maintained continuous growth and a unique business model that delivers leading edge services in design engineering, manufacturing, and test and verification to a large and diverse customer base serving all industry segments and geographies. Their acquisition in 2009 of CompServ has since enabled the company to expand the scope of those services to include advanced supply chain logistics, custom products sourcing and a wide array of test services.
