The GigaMux 50 delivers ample capacity expansion and exceptional economics for enterprise/point-to-point applications with more moderate capacity demands, supporting eight wavelengths at up to 2.5 Gbps per wavelength, yielding up to 20 Gbps per fiber.

The GigaMux 50 offers:

Single delivery platform for up to four optical services
Standard field-installable SFPs (Small Form-Factor Pluggables) on optical port interfaces for maximum flexibility
Supports up to four independent optical channels — eight wavelengths (four transmit and four receive) — onto a single fiber for cost-effective transport of data over distances
